Tristan T. Heart-Myers

Introducing Attorney
Tristan Heart-Myers

Family Law attorney Tristan Heart-Myers sees the practice of law as a means to bring power and control back into the lives of her clients. As a working mother to four young children, she knows how important your family’s security and happiness are to you, and she understands how precious time with your children is.

Tristan has a special interest in preventing a difficult legal process from defeating the outcome! She strives to secure the best results for her clients without sacrificing their dignity or the future of their co-parenting relationship. She takes pride in being a patient and even person, and it’s her goal to help her clients feel in control in very difficult situations.

Tristan earned her J.D. at UCLA School of Law, where she specialized in Critical Race Studies and Public Interest Law and Policy. She received high distinction for her pro bono work for reproductive justice, domestic violence survivors, workers’ rights, and community outreach.

Prior to practicing law, Tristan worked on issues of housing and homelessness policy in Seattle. A core aspect of this work involved helping people during their hardest days. She is adept at steering people through the confusing legal and bureaucratic processes that are necessary to resolve their problems. She understands how trauma affects families, and she will hold your hand and walk with you through your difficult situation.

I want my clients to know that I understand the stress they are under, and that I truly care.

When she is not working, Tristan enjoys spending time with her family. They enjoy being in nature and spending time at the beach, especially on gloomy tidepool days. As her kids get bigger and busier, she is finding joy in unexpected moments, like the car conversations that happen on the way to afterschool activities.
